About Us

Titirangi School is situated centrally within Titirangi and enjoys being 'hidden' in our beautiful bush surroundings. We make good use of the outdoors, which enhances our school environment and is excellent for field work outside the classroom. Our grounds are interesting and attractive. There is a hard court area used for a variety of sporting activities, a large field for sports and areas for creative play during summer. A series of exciting adventure stations have been developed to foster agility and fitness. Children are able to use all play areas. There is a smaller field at a lower level, this is a pleasant place, especially for our younger children, where creative play is encouraged away from the major games played by our senior pupils. We have a swimming pool which is utilised in the summer for our water skills programme.

Our main blocks of classrooms are covered by an extensive verandah which enable teachers and students to utilise the space outdoors. Year groups are situated in close proximity to each other for Syndicate and class events.

We are extremely proud of our purpose built library which houses over 6,500 books. This is a very well loved and used part of our school.

Our computer suite has sixteen networked computers and a data projector. All classrooms have their own computer.

The school hall, which has a moveable stage, is used for whole school assemblies and afterschool programmes. The hall is also available for hire for community use.
