We run a Hip hop group for Y3 students at Titirangi Primary, who practice every Wednesday.
The dance group is a great opportunity for the children to have fun, learn great routines and become more confident when performing on stage. At the end of the year the children have the opportunity to perform at the School Gala. In the past the group has also performed at the Glen Eden Light party and competed at the National Hip Hop competition. The music is main stream music that is played on the radio.
Children that are interested in joining the hip hop groups are given the chance to audition in term one. Once the group is formed, practises start and continue through the year.
