Google Docs	Room12Online research projects for Term 2: Share: Post news and book reviews on Google Docs. Create: Publish your own stories on Google Docs. Research and publish an online document or slideshow presentation about an endangered species that you have researched. Research: Save and tag useful website links to help support others in areas that we are studying by saving them to the Room 12 del.icio.us account. Use the search engines to the left to find out more about endangered species. Collaborate: Login to a Google document with a partner to publish work together. Give positive, constructive feedback and feed-forward to classmates to help them develop and improve their ideas. Have fun, and remember to tag your work with your first name only!

Quintura Kids	The students of Room 12 have developed and agreed to the following Room12Online eLearning Project Community Rules: Only appropriate work or website bookmarks should be posted e.g. age appropriate reviews or sites – do not post or bookmark anything that is difficult to understand or may offend others. Surf responsibly; always get permission to use the internet and exit immediately from sites that don't look safe.

Wikipedia	When posting work on Google Docs: • Always name work, using first name only. • Only age-appropriate work should be posted. • Use appropriate language e.g. no text language. • Quality work is posted. • Post work in the folders provided - do not create, change or move folders. When giving feedback and feed-forward: • You can read and leave a comment – do not change or interfere with anyone else’s work. • Include your name when leaving a comment on someone’s work. • Respect each other's work – no put-downs. • Give constructive feedback, such as positive comments about the writing e.g. ‘I liked…’ • Give constructive feed-forward such as suggested improvements or clarification. Deleting work: • Only Miss Mills is to delete work . If you have any problems with online files or documents, let Ms Mills know as soon as you can.
