Enrolling at school

Taking the first steps

IF YOU LIVE IN
OUR SCHOOL ZONE

If you live in our school zone (LINK HERE), we invite you to pre-enrol your child before their 5th birthday. We will meet with you to put a plan in place for your child, and arrange one or more school visits to help your child become accustomed to the school.

Our Enrolment Team are happy to provide you with more information and answer any questions you may have:

please contact join@titirangi.school.nz

THE ENROLMENT MEETING

Once we have received your enrolment form, we will contact you to arrange an Enrolment meeting.  You'll have the opportunity to meet the principal, your child's teacher, and to ask questions about anything you need to know.

Please bring:

  • Proof of age (such as a birth certificate)

  • Immunisation certificate (if available)

  • Completed health card

  • Proof of address (to show that you live in zone)

SCHOOL VISITS

School visits are a great way for your child to have their first school experience. These are generally around two hours in length. Usually, you'll drop your child in the morning at around 830am and collect them at morning tea time at 1030am.

IF YOU LIVE OUT OF ZONE

In order to maintain the optimum size of our school, we operate an enrolment scheme. While those children living in our school zone have an automatic entitlement to enrolment, others need to make a special application to be considered through a ballot process.

Please contact the school office for full information on the ballot process, and dates of ballots or if you have any questions that relate to the out of zone process - office@titirangi.school.nz
