At Titirangi Primary School we take giftedness seriously and we have a Gifted and Talented Education Coordinator to support this programme.

OUR APPROACH

Students are referred to the GaTE register by teachers and identified through the seven domains of giftedness:

Intellectual
Creative
Athletic
Cultural
Technological
Visual/Performing Arts
Personal/Social

To cater for our gifted students, each teacher plans and delivers differentiated programmes, designed to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

In addition, identified gifted students are able to participate in enrichment/extension programmes such as GaTE, and . These programmes are designed to develop learners' critical, analytical and reasoning, through inquiry into broad concepts, explored through an advanced problem-solving lens.
