We are excited to announce that this year, the students from syndicate 3/4 and syndicate 5/6 will be involved in our school production - Back in the Habitat!
All children will get the chance to perform with their classes in an item that highlights an environment on Earth, as well as showing the human impacts.
It was a pleasure to have over 70 children audition for a speaking role, and everyone who gave it a go did a wonderful job. Congratulations to the 14 students selected for a main part, they will be taking us all on an exciting, fun, and touching journey across our world.
The production will be happening Week 8 of Term 3 - Wednesday September 6th (11am and 6:00pm), Thursday 7th and Friday 8th (6:00pm)
Performance location is The Titirangi War Memorial Hall.
Class teachers will be in contact regarding help for their own items, but we would value and appreciate any volunteers who could be available to assist with the overall organisation on the performance evenings. This would involve helping children get from waiting areas to the stage, ensuring props are readily available, and supporting nervous children who are waiting to go on stage. The cost will be $5 per child ticket and $10 per adult ticket.
