As a Green-Gold Enviro School, we operate a rubbish-sorting and recycling system. There are a few initiatives that we have put in place this year to ensure that we are supporting our local environment, community and overseas.
As we replace our classrooms with new furniture we have donated chairs, tables, and a whole range of other items to the Salvation Army in an effort to reuse and recycle.
Our resource room has had an overall and cull of old journals and resources. A charity has been contacted who will be ship these resources to Fiji, where the resources will be distributed to schools.
The Enviro team have been working hard to beautify our school environment whilst following all the water restrictions that have been in place.
We have also been 'upcycling' by sourcing plants from our community that people have kindly donated.
