Talofa lava!
Thank you to the families who attended the Pacific Fono on Monday evening. I have put together a proposal to the Pacific Education Innovation Fund and hope this application is successful so we can look at ways we can celebrate and raise awareness for our Pacific children. I really enjoyed listening and gathering all the ideas from the families.
The Parent Information Evening on Wednesday 26 May was very successful, it was great to hear all the positive feedback from the parents who attended. The teachers and students shared information, and resources about junior reading, senior literacy, maths (focus on fractions), and wellbeing. All the presentations from this evening have been shared on the school website.
In Term 1 I surveyed the community about Alert Level 3 learning. I have collated all the findings into a report which I have shared with the Board of Trustees. I have asked for feedback from the teachers in response to the findings and their ideas were added to the report too. I would like to share this with you.
I would like to thank everyone who responded to this survey. We appreciate the time and thought you put into responding to this survey.
The junior school fun run was a huge success it was great to see all the children giving it go. Thank you parents and grandparents for supporting and cheering them on.
