The School Board invites out of zone applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Titirangi Primary School to start school between the beginning of Term 3 2023 and the end of Term 1 2024.
In New Zealand, students can stay in pre-school education or care up until the age of 6 years old so are able to start school a little after their 5th birthday.
If your child’s birthday falls in Term 2 2023 but you are happy for your child to wait and start in Term 3, this may be an option for you.
Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school website.

The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is Friday 31 March 2023.
Parents of students who live within the home zone please email office@titirangi.school.nz to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year.
Your child's name and date of birth and your contact details including your address. .
The board has determined that up to 25 out-of-zone places are likely to be available for children who will turn 5 before April 30th, 2024 next year.
The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.
If a ballot is required, it will be held on Monday 3 April 2023. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot before Friday 28 April.
