Last week saw us have our first school community event in what feels like forever!
It was great to see so many of our wider school whanau and to join together to celebrate Matariki.
It really does feel like the start of a new year as we begin to come back together again and plan for the rest of the year.
Huge thanks to the team from Harcourts for supporting us this year, your energy and assistance in getting our event running was incredibly valuable and we look forward to working with you a bit more over the rest of the year.
We were very busy making batches of hot milo in the kitchen! But given we had nothing left by the end of the event I can only assume we filled lots of tummys with our fresh fruit, sausages and milo!
Now that we can start to come together a bit more, we have some plans for more opportunities to meet up, we will be holding our TPS Quiz at the Titirangi RSA - we are firming up the plans but it is looking like mid August. Such a fab night, for those that came last year, we look forward to seeing you again and to those new to the school we would love for you to join us. Watch this space for more information.
Last year we successfully raised funds for the replacement of the shade sails over the pool, this year we are looking to create an interactive play area between the courts and the pool. We are investigating what this may look like so will keep you posted.
As we start to build up to more events we would love more volunteers to give us a hand. We are a friendly bunch who are passionate about our school and its wider community, so if you are interested in getting involved we would love to hear from you, email us on pta@titirangi.school.nz!
Our last PTA meeting for the term is this Monday 4th July 7.30pm in the staffroom, all welcome.
