Teachers will be taking part in professional development on Cultural Responsiveness with Alana Madgwick.
Alana is an experienced in-school facilitator and consultant. She facilitates workshops on a number of topics ranging from: culturally responsive leadership and pedagogy, improving writing in secondary classrooms, improving reading in secondary classrooms, and accelerating Pasifika achievement for teachers.
She supports schools in facilitating in-school professional learning. She spearheaded 'Light the Fire' meetings for teachers who are passionate about Pasifika students enjoying success as Pasifika.
