The day is about participating and giving things a go. All children will participate in a range of athletics based activities.
As the focus of the day is about getting involved and having a good time, we will not be recording results or holding finals of events.
Parents, if you would like to watch your child, please be aware that we will have over 300 children involved throughout the day. Space on the bleachers and our field will be limited. Please check the timetable attached but note it is indicative only and may change on the day.
If the event is not going ahead and needs to be postponed, we will make the call by 8.30am Friday 24th November.
Notifications will be made by a school wide HERO post, Facebook and the school website.
Please make sure your child has lots of water, lots of food, a wide brimmed hat, sunscreen applied at home before school (this will also be available at school) suitable clothing that is easy to move in and appropriate closed shoes.
This year we are trialling something new and after lunch we are going to have a few community events and class relays We still need a few parents/caregivers to sign up and take part in the community events. The events are the parent vs teacher relay race, shot put, high jump and the power walking race.
