Senior Netball wraps up the season

The 2020 senior netball season come to an end, and what a season of stops and starts. A huge thank you to all our coaches and managers for giving your time and expertise to support and inspire our young players. Year 5 Fantails What a great season for the fantails! So amazing to see how the girls grew as a team throughout the season, developed their skills and played some very skilful netball. There were some hard losses, some well deserved wins and a few close battles too. The girls were an awesome bunch to coach, always cheerful and enthusiastic. And they listened to the coach most of the time! Well done on a very enjoyable season, so proud of what the girls did as a team this year Year 5/6 Kapapos The Kakapos had a great season, even with a very new team, covid and other challenges like a broken wrist. They all improved their skills immensely and ended up working really well as a team. They got 5th place and should be very proud of themselves. We the coaches have enjoyed training them and hope they will continue playing netball in the future. Year 6 Tuis The year 6 Tui’s netball team had a great win in the rain to finish the season, winning 12-4.  Congratulations, Tuis who placed 3rd in their grade despite a very disrupted netball season placing 3rd in their league.
