Year 6 Graduation Information 2021

In these unprecedented times, we have planned according to current Alert Levels what the Year 6 Graduation ceremony will look like. This will look slightly different from previous years, however, we are confident that we will be able to celebrate the achievements of our current Year 6’s and give them a fitting send-off. As Auckland works through the move from the Alert Levels towards the Traffic Light System, these are the scenarios we envisage from current available Ministry of Health and Education information (please note, this could be subject to change). Scenario 1: This ceremony will take place at school with parents in attendance.
The children will be acknowledged individually with a Graduation Certificate and Medal. Scenario 2: This ceremony will take place at school. Unfortunately due to current Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education guidelines, we cannot yet confirm if parents will be able to attend. This ceremony will be recorded and shared with families. The children will be acknowledged individually with a Graduation Certificate and Medal. Scenario 3: This ceremony will be conducted online in accordance with the Ministry of Education guidelines. This ceremony will be recorded and shared with families.
Children will be acknowledged individually with a Graduation Certificate and Medal (via contactless collection from the school). Within each version of the Graduation ceremony, there will be presentations from Julie our Principal, a Board of Trustee representative, and a guest speaker. We will also be sharing highlights of the children's time at Titirangi Primary School. We will be acknowledging our families who will be leaving Titirangi Primary School, where the youngest child is graduating. The presentations from the speakers will be conducted via pre-recorded message, unless at Level 1, where this should be able to be conducted in person. We are all hoping that we can celebrate this time together whilst following the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education guidelines. Our goal is to celebrate and acknowledge the amazing Year 6 students that we have and successfully send them along the educational journey that awaits them.
