Term Dates 2026

Monday 2nd February - School is open for a Whānau Day ~ Classroom teachers will meet with their families as a group
- Each year group will have an allocated time:
- Year 1 classes 9am, Year 2 classes 10am, Year 3 classes 11am, Year 4 classes 12am, Year 5&6 classes 1pm
  - Students and families will come to their Year level meeting time.
  - Students are at school only for this meeting time, not the day.
Classes begin full teaching Tuesday 3rd of February. First full day of class.
School Closed - Term 1 - Waitangi Day: 6th of February
Term 1 finish - Wednesday 1st April - last day of classes.
School Closed - Term 1 - Teacher Only Day Thursday 2nd April ~ Ministry of Education Teacher Only Day
School Closed - Easter: Good Friday 3rd April, Easter Monday 6th April
Term 2 start - Monday 20th April
School Closed from 12.30pm - Parent, Teacher Learning Conversations. Friday 20 March
School Closed - Anzac Day observed on Monday 27 April
School Closed - King’s Birthday – Monday 1st June
Term 2 finish - Friday 3rd July
Term 3 start - Monday 20th July
Term 3 finish - Friday 25th September
Term 4 start - Monday 12th October
School Closed - Labour Day – Monday 26th October
Last Day of School - Wednesday 16th December School Finishes 12.30pm

Teacher Only Days (School Closed) - 2026

The Ministry of Education will be allocating Teacher Only Days to support teachers in the delivery of the 'New' 2026 New Zealand Curriculum.
These dates have been confirmed Term 1 - Thursday 2nd April. School is closed.
The Ministry of Education has not confirmed a date for a second Teacher Only Day.
Families will be notified as soon as this is confirmed by the Ministry of Education.
School will be closed on these days.
