Titirangi Primary Schools Sesquicentennial - 150th Birthday!

Updated: Oct 20, 2022

Tuesday the 27th of September was a momentus day in the life of Titirangi Primary School.

As a school that began it's journey all the way back in 1872 in the Bishop's house to a school community that has grown and embraces so many from across Waitakere and the world.

We are so grateful to all those that could attend on the day; from the students and teachers creating a beautiful new Art Trail for all to enjoy, the Kapa Haka, Pasifika & TPS Dance Crew performers, esteemed speakers and wonderful cake cutters (Estelle Bray - our more senior past pupil and Jacob Yee - our newest student on the day for 2022).

Please enjoy the photos from the day and enjoy the 150th Anniversay Film created by the Senior Students and our Creatives-in-Schools visual experts Britta and Martin:

Many of our attendees have purchased a 150th Anniversary Cup - showing the students from this 150th year. You will see this in the photos and can order from the school office if you would like ($15 each).

The photos from the day and the history of the schools journey to the 150th will be part of the 2022 Titirangi School Year Book - all are welcome to order one of these from the school office - ($25 each). More information will be posted about this 2022 Edition in the coming weeks.
