The Travelwise group were invited to the Auckland Transport (AT) end of year school celebration at the Cloud last week in the city.
We joined over 30 other schools to celebrate collective efforts towards reducing the amount of cars on the road and safe travel to and from school.
Six students represented Titirangi Primary proudly this year and were awarded a Silver Award for their efforts throughout the year.
As a community and a school we need to continue pursuing other modes of transport to and from school to receive the Gold Award in 2023.
We are encouraging more students to join our Walking School Bus, walk or bike to school, as we continue to aspire to reduce traffic around the crossing and school. This includes making sure we keep the P2 drop off zone flowing smoothly in the mornings and after-school.
