Year 6 Graduation

The Year 6 Graduation Ceremony is on Friday 8th December at 1pm at the Titirangi War Memorial Hall.

We look forward to welcoming all Year 6 parents to join us to celebrate their child’s journey at Titirangi Primary School (TPS).

At this ceremony the children will be acknowledged individually with a graduation certificate and medal. There will be presentations from our principal, a Board of Trustee representative and a guest speaker. We will acknowledge the families who will be leaving TPS, where the youngest child is graduating.

Please note that we have limited space in the war memorial hall so please be mindful of the number of guests that you bring with you. The Year 5 students will be present as well.

This is a formal occasion so your child may want to wear something special. We would like to ask that no hats are worn.

The ceremony will begin with the Year 5 students performing a Haka Pōwhiri to welcome the Year 6’s students into the hall.

The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm. We ask that families be seated for the 1pm start.

The students will assemble outside the entrance, in their seating order by the flagpole. At the end of the graduation ceremony, parents will be asked to meet their child outside the hall for photo opportunities with their peers and TPS staff.

If you have any questions about the graduation - please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or Kiran Ramji (Team Leader, kiranr@titirangi.school.nz), or Mike Chatfield (Deputy Principal - mikec@titirangi.school.nz)
