Room 20 spent a day at Te Uru learning about our local iwi and discussing stories from the past. We looked at the characteristics of Taniwha and then sculpted our own interpretations with clay. We had amazing parent support on the day, and Iona was brilliant as always from Te Uru. The students were able to take home their sensational creations as a reminder of our fantastic learning experience.
